IRON IN WELL WATER

WHAT IS IRON?

Iron (Fe) is a naturally occurring metal found naturally in the ground. Iron is all around us. We see it in the rocks, the soil, the ditches, rivers, lakes, and more. Iron causes an undesirable metallic taste and odour in drinking water, and causes unsightly "rusty" stains on water fixtures, clothes and appliances.

HOW DO YOU REMOVE IRON FROM WATER?

There are several treatment processes that can be used to treat water with iron. Some of the most common and effective methods are Ion exchange, oxidizing and filtration, and inline filters
